At Camtec Installations, we’re taking all necessary steps to stop the spread of coronavirus and keep all involved safe on the job. Read on to find out how our electricians maintain a safe environment.
Before Your Appointment
When you call us at Camtec Installations, we’ll ask you a number of questions. This will be to understand if anyone at your property is showing signs of Covid-19, if anyone is shielding, or if there are any occupants considered to be vulnerable or at high risk.
We will also call ahead on the day of arrival to see if your situation has changed.
During the Appointment Itself
Our electricians will comply fully with the latest guidance. This includes:
Washing their hands before entering your home, and then at regular intervals
Keep two metres away from you, preferably working in a different room
Wear protective gloves as appropriate when touching surfaces
Wear PPE if more than one electrician is needed and they can’t social distance
Please open windows and doors to maximise ventilation while our electricians carry out the necessary maintenance or installation work.
We know the importance of protecting occupants that may be shielding. In such cases, our electricians will wear goggles and respirator masks. If in the unlikely event that you’ve told us a member of your family has Covid-19, we will arrive wearing a cover-all suit.
We want to provide you with the best electrical work available, even at this difficult time. In line with current advice, we won’t wear respirator masks or other face coverings in most other cases.
